Very run down and due to a broken pipe on the first floor ( Dec 24) the hallway was soaked and smelled. The price Vs the amenities offered is good, but its in run down part of Toledo, and hotel has seen better days.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

All i can tell you that people were smoking weed and no one seems to care including front desk manager. please stay away from this days inn especially if you have kids. Water was leaking from one of the room so carpet smiled REALLY REALLY BAD!! There was bugs in the room. Power outlet didn't work. My room key didn't work twice in one day. Even though we stayed at non smoking room, but our hallway was full of smoke. Front desk manager suppose to call me back today because i want to change my room, but he never called me back. There is sign behind the front desk saying no kids allowed by them self, no smoking in non smoking rooms, we care about our customers, rooms will stay clean, no parites in room, but everything happened....-. On 6/9 at 10:33pm some was knocking my patio door and screaming.....i can go on and on, but i think this good enough to tell others to stay away from this days inn.

All though an older Motel it was very clean and decorated much better then most other Days Inn. The staff was so nice and helpful with all our needs. The rooms were very quiet and the heater was not at all noisy, best 2 nights sleep I have gotten staying in any motels. The rooms are very large and looks just like the photos you see at the web site.
The on site restaurant was Fabulous, we liked the food so much that we didn’t eat anywhere else in our 2 day stay. Our friends stayed at the same motel and agreed we would eat all our meals there.
The owners of the restaurant made us feel like royalty, the food was outstanding, like no other Hotel we have ever stayed in the years of our travels.
Our hats off to The Miami Street Grille’ and to the cook and staff, you made our stay enjoyable.

The room I stayed in was recently

The room I stayed in was recently renovated but still left much to be desired. I had to unplug the lamp over the desk so that I could plug in my laptop. They must have forgotten to replace the furniture when the were renovating too, because it was not new. The 8' of extra coax cable on the floor was a nice added touch. There are lamps mounted on the wall on either side of the bed, however, one of them didn't work because there was no where to plug it in. There is one outlet on the wall, which has the clock and the other lamp plugged into it.The hallways are dingy and dark. The lobby is extremely small.Surrounding area is scary especially at night. Didn't feel comfortable leaving my car outside overnight. The exterior of the hotel is a bright lime green which makes it easy to spot, but it is not very visually appealing. Paint is peeling. The digital sign outside said 02/05/1980, which is probably the last time this was a good place to stay. They do have nice free wireless network and a fridge in the room though.

This place is NASTY!!

My husband and I and our three young boys booked this suite online and it looked great ONLINE! But when we arrived, as soon as we got into the parking lot there was beer bottles and beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere! When we got up to our suite it was SOOOO NASTY AND DIRTY AND DUSTY! One of the bathroom toilets was MELTED! The carpet was FILTHY! The showers were both dirty, and the whole room smelled GROSS! One of the beds sheets were ripped, the fridge was caked with grime! And out on the balcony someone had left some empty beer cans. I took my kids down to check out the pool and that was nasty and dirty too!! I think that we stayed there all of about 30 minutes before we went back to the front desk and DEMANDED AND RECIEVED A REFUND!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!

Our biggest concern was that we were traveling with young children and there appeared to be activity in the room next to us that made us extremely uncomfortable. My husband woke in the middle of the night to a procession of visitors (one at a time) tapping on the outside door of the room next to ours. They would stay for about 15 minutes and leave. This went on until the early morning hours. One man even tapped on our door. Not sure what activities were going on, but was highly disturbed by it. Staff did show concern and support when told of it the next morning.

Remodeled beautifully

The place looked great. We held our small wedding reception in the bar/lounge area. Staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We stayed in the "jacuzzi" room, which was a lot of fun. Rooms are a little old, but very clean and well-stocked with amenities. I loved the little coffee maker they provided!

Excellent pool and lounge. We were only there overnight but enjoyed the stay. We had a room with a king bed, fridge and microwave. It would be great to stay longer and have a place to keep leftovers and heat them up in the room! The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions. The lounge was very nice with even some "locals" present. The pool was terrific!

Had trouble on check in, used online travel website , tried to bill us again. Manager resolved issues to my satisfaction. Room was dirty, shower had mold in it. Claimed to have recently been remodeled. Not the room I was in!
