I think it was a Hampton and either a Motel 6 or Super 8. One was overpriced and small and the other had a very rude desk clerk. When we went to Days Inn, we were very surprised at the kindness of the staff and the appearance of the lobby. It had a very warm feeling. The price was right, included breakfast and the gal at the front gave us all the information of things to do in the area. We ended up turning our 1 night stay into 3 nights. There is so much to do in Flagstaff or around the town. I hear the train a few times, which we were warned about, but it did not bother us. The heated pool and spa were great at the end a cold day. The beds we were told were just upgraded and the rooms were very neat and clean. The bed covers were clean and I felt comfortable being naked in them. I wanted to steal the chair it was so lovely. I didn't sleep a single minute. 1/4 of the window was missing which didn't help block out the noise either. The guy at the reception didn't care at all.
