This last time was the worst time, and the last. In going into the bathroom I happened to look in and around, and found hair on the floor, and in the bathtub/shower. In looking into the toilet there was a ring in the bowl, and in flushing, it began to back up. I went to the front desk and I was handed a plunger. So much for the rooms being maintained. What was a good time in the pool area now has turned into a dip in the pool and a whirlpool, from what was a heat room that is now locked up. We were a little leery, but in the end my family was very happy with our stay. It is nothing fancy by any means, but the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. We had a one bedroom suite for the price of most hotel rooms in the area. It was very spacious! The pool was nice and clean, and warm for the kids. The ceiling seemed to need some repairs in the pool area. For the price, we were thrilled and our kids want to go back. We seemed to have the pool to ourselves and for a family of three little ones that is a great asset. We didn't eat at the hotel continental breakfast, not because it was bad, but because we love to eat at Pat & Jerry’s down the road. They have great homemade cooking for a reasonable price. Its location is ideal (Taksim Square), the service is excellent, the rooms are very nice, and hte 24 hour room service is great. Highly recommend this hotel, will stay there again when I visit IStanbul.
