This Was a Nightmare!

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. I made reservations for two nights in with a king-size bed smoking room. When we got there the lobby and the elevators were filthy. I told my husband that I hoped this was not indicative of the room. First of all they gave us a non-smoking room and said that I had not reserved a smoking room, but that they would give us one. Both rooms (the non-smoking and the smoking) were awful. The carpet had spills all over it. The bathrooms were not clean. I turned the bed down and I am sure someone had already slept in the bed! It was not tucked in and it was very wrinkled where someone would have slept! We left! I will never book a room in a Days Inn again and especially not this one. The location was wonderful, too bad they do not keep up the property.

The location of the hotel was the only attraction it has.Its not worth the price and its reputation.“The hotel is not well maintained. The room bed sheets were dirty and looked stained. The room carpet was dirty and at the corner of the walls it felt like there was some makeover being done and left in the half way. This gave a very creepy and scary feeling being with small kids.”

Very convenient to the falls. No need to use the car. Quiet rooms.Need renovation. Old and musty facility. Could be a 5 star place with upgrade.“All in all it was nice for the price. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable, eager to help. The rooms and amenities are very old, most likely from the 60's. Elevator must be replaced as it has seen hard times and extremely slow. Parking garage needs cleaning and updated lighting as it doesn't appear safe and open to the public via tunnel at street level.”

My stay @ Days Inn

Hotel is old. That is a fact. Everything is old; furniture, windows, carpets, bathroom, etc.
When I walked in, it reeked of mold. I thought it might be because of the indoor pool (not that I knew that they had one). Walking through the hallways, my daughter told me that it smelled like overbaked waffales with honey and dirt. :) (very specific). Second day she tells me that it smells like bleach mixed with dirt and soap. I didn't find any bed bugs (I checked - I stayed with children, I had to be safe). Service was ok, we didn't need much. They did let us into the room before check in time (that was nice of them). I think it's great that Denny's is right there in the building. Parking was available. If you are not expecting a lot, this is the place to stay, but I think that you could do better with your money. I know I'll do better homework next time.

Hotel was easy to find.Lack of close parking for guests.“The hotel overall was pleasant. clean, well lit. Inadequate parking for number of rooms in this hotel is a concern.”

The front desk staff was nice. This hotel was dirty and in disrepair.“This hotel had quite pleasant employees. This was the only saving grace. The mattresses were awful; the bathrooms were held together with caulk. The lobby; hallways and rooms would not be considered clean by anyone.”

Never go back!

We stayed for 3 nites 7/10/08 - 7/12//08. We had orginally requested a non-smoking room cause we were only staying 2 nites. We asked if we could stay an extra nite. They said yes, but they only had a smoking room. So we took the room. Well, when we got off the elevator the hallway smelled disqusting!!! Stale smoke. I was afraid to go into the room. The room was not as bad, but it had a smokers smell - not fresh smelling at all. We stuck it out for the 3 nites. The desk clerks were polite. I will never go back - it should be demolished and rebuilt!

Near the falls. That is the only advantage.Poor quality bed, I am on Bengay. My back still hurts.“Don't even go there! The price you are paying is not worth it for this hotel. They are not maintaining the days inn quality.”

This hotel was close to the Canada. I went over to shop. Also I did a tour of the area I was in. I went in March and it was still cold, the best time to go is around May. The Hotel was ok the kids loved it. and thats what counts. We were only there to sleep.
