Only about 2 blocks from amusement park.Could use some fixing up in the bathroom and electrical outlets. This hotel is ok if you just want a reasonable place to stay for a night or two.

At check in we were told there was an in room safe--there was none but they did install the next day. The room furniture looked old and dirty (we did not sit on the sofa at all) but the linens looked clean. The second night of what was supposed to be a 7 night stay, a toilet on the 3rd floor overflowed and made it's way to our 1st floor room. It was "raining" in our room. The phone just rang at the front desk. When we inquired the next morning to request a new room, we were told there were no more rooms available. It took the manager to get us a room at another Days Inn down the street. Same Travel wesite rating but a bit difference in quality and location.

Convenient, kid friendly breakfast. Our room wasn't cleaned. This hotel was a real mix of good and bad. The front desk could not find my reservation but the clerk was very nice and friendly and searched diligently until it was found. He even put me on the ground floor as asked. The room was clean when we arrived, but was not cleaned during our stay, not even fresh towels. The pool was enjoyed by my nieces, but they couldnt understand why we didn't have the "nice pool" like the hotel across the street. Breakfast was ok, kid friendly with cereals juice and donnish. I probably would not stay again here, especially at the price we paid (Cheaper rooms available at hotels that looked as nice or nicer).

It was close to the beach and amusement park. There were too many unattended teenagers. We went down for my 5 year old daughter's first trip to the beach. It was like.

Not the place to stay

My wife and I have stayed in several Days Inns in the past couple of years and this has to be by far the worst. It has a beautiful location and view, but the facility should be removed and replaced. Almost everything in the place was worn, and kind of shabby. A strong storm came in on 6/2/07 and the carpet was wet almost 2 feet inside the sliding glass door.

It was not a good stay and the cost was approx the same as nearby superior properties. We just did not know that and couldn't figure out how to keep from losing our $00.00 or we would have not stayed there.
