not the worst, and def NOT the best

The staff were friendly enough ... but oh my goodness all those violations that I saw. I was there for a party with my friends and the area look deserted, I could almost see a tumble weed rolling down the street along with all the abandoned boared up buildings that my friend and I had seen as we walked around to find a bite to eat. The room was a bit dirty and the wall was falling apart and the BED!! OMG. I might as well have laid on the dirty carpeted floor, that and the noise it made when I sat down.
And that was just mine, and my friends room. I came with several others, who were more disappointed in their stay than I was. If there would EVER be a next time, it sure as hell wouldn't be there.. Sorry guys, i loved your friendliness, but if you're going to fix up a motel, at least clean up the mess that's there and fix your fire violations before you get closed down.

The hotel is old and does need some updating. I was there from 9-12-08 to 9-14-08. The rooms were ok but I can't say enough about the staff. They
were wonderful. So nice and tried their best to please and I wanted to
thank them. They can't help

Soft water and the waffle was good.No good customer service skills for staff, dirty, not safe and good place to be.“The whole experience at the hotel was very bad. The room was dirty, mildew and mold all over the room to include the whole bathroom, the AC hardly worked. The hotel was right next to a jail, the beds where very hard. There was hardly any food for breakfast and the guy at front desk was very rude.”

Hallways and rooms are small, old, and dirty. Bathrooms the same. Peeling paint on bathtub. Stains on ceiling. Walls had screws sticking out, pencil marks, etc. I immediately requested a refund and found a different hotel. That said, the staff was courteous and accomadated my request with no problems. I would rank this less than a one star hotel. It is the cheapest hotel downtown, but it is still way overpriced for the quality.

Breakfast was good, service from check-in to check-out was Hoosier Hospitality at it's BEST! But, Days Inn you've gotta' do something about the building if you want to compete in downtown INDY...it's on the move and you all seem to be left behind.

This is by far the worst hotel I have

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever seen!! From the front desk to the elevator to the hotel room, everything was dirty, run down and is a rent by the hour not by day. The room was not cleaned, there was blood on my pillowcase, toothpaste on the sink and a spider in my bed. The dresser drawers were broken the faucet in the bathtub was rusted out and I would never consider standing in the shower. The floors were dirty and the ceiling was about to cave in from water damage. Needless to say I did not even stay the night...I got out of there as fast as I checked in. Don't stay here...spend 20-30 more a night and stay at the Candlewood suites where they have a free shuttle to downtown..it is beautiful.

We weren't charged for checking out 20

We weren't charged for checking out 20 minutes after we arrived. This place is disgusting, entirely.“This place was so disgusting that I can barely put words to it. This looks like a "pay-by-the-hour" hotel, if you catch my drift. The people who met us at the front desk looked like they would slit your throat for crack. The elevator is about the size of a refrigerator and as we went up to the 3rd floor, I saw my life flash before my eyes, the doors were opening on the way up and it shook like we were in an earthquake. When we finally reached our floor the carpet in the hallway was disgustingly filthy. I could see the dirt caked on. Then we walked into the room. Our king sized bed was a twin at the most. The ceiling had two square holes in it that looked like they may have wanted to put in a skylight at some point but ran out of money to buy the glass so there were two pieces of plywood covering them. There were vents hanging off of the ceiling and the smoke detector was not functioning. The batteries in the remote were duct-taped on. I was standing in disbelief and my fiance was sitting on the bed while we were trying to figure out what to do. After sitting on the bed for 5 minutes, he stood up and said that there was no way in hell that we were staying because the bed was definitely itchy and was making his skin crawl. We picked up our staff and went down to the front desk (using the stairs this time) as the manager was clocking in. We told her that there was no way that we were staying here because it is so nasty. She said she understood and that some of the rooms need a little work. Definitely an understatement. She didn't make us pay for the room (which was the only upside to this hotel) and we left. We ended up at the Hyatt Place by the airport which is the best hotel experience that I have every had and it was only about $20 more for the whole weekend than the Days Inn.”
