The only thing we didn’t like was that when we got our free breakfast, that it was 10 minutes until it was done. There were people partying in the lobby. The desk clerk said to call down if it was to noisy. Well, I did. Nothing changed. They were still loud until 2 am. And when I took a shower the next morning I was disgusted by the fact that the cleaning crew had not cleaned the shower after the last guests because there was still hair on the shower wall, many of them. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner, there was a cigarette burn in our blanket and the TV remote was held together with scotch tape. Our confirmation said 1:00 pm occupancy and we were told 3:00 pm when we arrived, however the staff took measures to correct that. We tried to find Days Inns wherever we went on our three and a half week holiday we took this summer. We appreciated this hotel's location (close to Columbia Mall). The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and they offer quality toilettries. The pool area was well maintained and temperature perfect. Good selection for continental breakfast, altho' fruit would have been a welcome addition in Grand Forks. In a busy season, seating here is a bit inadequate.
