Beware this motel

I could echo the Jul 25 2007 review, aside from the creepiness of the lady at the front desk - the roaches, the dirt, the general uncleanliness and the bad smell.

The lobby area looked shabby, with poor lighting, boarded up spaces on the wall in front of a bank of chairs (what used to be there, phones? peep shows?). The room was dingy and dirty, with black marks on the towels and various detritus on the floors.

My wife flipped the covers back to check for bedbugs right as we got into the room - no bedbugs, but a roach went scurrying out of sight. We immediately packed up and left (passing a large roach in the middle of the hallway on the way out). The lady at the front desk said she would refund our money, but did not.

Stay away!

Roaches!

This motel appears to be almost inhabitable at first glance. You won't see garbage immediately in your room until you look behind the beds, where apparently no one bothers to clean anything up. Still, your night isn't complete until the roaches wander over your bed or nightstand. Lovely, really.

Very old and dirty hotel

Paid for a room at 3 am, July 23, 2007. Older lady was very creepy......put us way in back by dark alley where lock on window was broken.....water not working in shower......bugs and pubic hair on floor......black tar on white towels in bathroom.....flys, nats and mouse droppings......bad smell. My wife and daughter were scared so we left the room immediately. Went to complain but front office lady was mad and rude. Said would not refund money. We cared more for our safety and as we left in our car-- a beat up old truck went around by the back alley where our isolated room was located (maybe to come through our broken, open window?) Very weird and scary place. Just awful!!

It is the worst hotel I've ever visited

The front door was broken, there was trash on the grounds, there were beligerent people in the lobby while I was checking in, the room was not clean, the towel rack fell off the wall, the water took 15 minutes to warm up, there was a used condom found in the floor by our bed, the drawers did not open, it was noisy, the staff was not polite or helpful.
