Fortunately, the temperature never got lower than about 65 degrees F. The hottest it ever got was 95 degrees F, when I made the mistake of leaving the heat on when I left the room for about four hours. They moved me to another room that night, but the thermostat didn't work in the second room, either. When I complained and asked them to fix the problem, they kindly explained that I just didn't know how to use the thermostat. I complained every day of my stay and the problem remained until the day I checked out. Great price for a nice room. We were disappointed the room didn't have a fridge or microwave. The pool area was dark and the floor was heavily puddled. We had to go to the front desk for pool towels. Other guests coming in at 2:00 AM on a Saturday night were a bit loud. The room was clean, the bed was actually comfortable, plenty of pillows and excellent service. The room was clean and beautiful. We made the mistake of eating in the Italian restaurant. The rolls were stale. I ordered salad and fish. The fish was salty and not very good. I didn't eat much of it. Two hours later, I was violently ill. They gave my car a hot shot- called ahead to Firestone and dropped it off, then drove me and my daughter to her soccer game. Being 3 1/2 hours away from home and having your car break down was not fun, but the good people at this hotel really could not have been nicer and more helpful. We are from; FL, NV and NH. We only have good things to say about our stay. We were most impressed with the clean smell of the room as we entered.
