The shuttle picked me up for free and the staff greeted me at the front desk with a warm smile. The room was clean, the food in the restaurant was very tasty and all and all it was a very pleasant stay. My husband worked the first 2 days of our trip while I drove to the downtown area for sightseeing -- the hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown! The hotel front desk staff were especially friendly after a long flight in bad weather trying to get into DIA for a long ski weekend! They provided van pick-up service at the airport, and the driver helped with all of our ski luggage!! The rooms were nice, updated, and clean. The hotel has converted to a Crowne Plaza and entire hotel renovations. It is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Hotel was very clean. I will sleep in my car before I will stay at this hotel again. The rooms are filthy, hair in the sink and tub, mold on the ceilings, dirt ring around the tub and the coffee pot hadn't been emptied from the guest before. There were several of us staying and every single room was the same. Some of us even changed rooms and the replacements were just as bad. The hallways are dirty, the elevators smelled really bad. The breakfast buffet that cost 2 people $30.00 was almost completely empty, there were flies all over the food and when we asked for some eggs they brought us out 2 plates of cold scrambled eggs with cheese that wasn't even melted. The coffee at $2.50 a cup was cold and stale. There aren't even any vending machines to get a snack to fill you up because the food is so bad. The service is terrible. We had a conference there and our company had ordered drinks and snacks for us. They brought drinks, no ice, cookies that were burnt and cold, stale coffee. I could go on forever, but let me suggest that you stay at Motel 6 or sleep at DIA. Then I entered the restroom and noticed the tub was old, dirty and stained. We headed downstairs to the pool and the water was slimy and cloudy. The pool could've been a health hazard since it hadn't been shocked in days. We immediately took our daughter out of the pool and back up stairs.
