I make reservations on line and print maps and never have trouble finding them. They are always clean and usually quiet. A few have noisy bars near the rooms. Some are located in renovated older structures. I like to see old buildings reused this way. In San Antonio there's a great little Comfort Inn in an old jail. It's unique, well located, small and quiet and the price is consistent with the chain.
