The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with different types of pillows.The staff was friendly and helpful with needed directions and welcomed us when we arrived around midnight. We chose a package that included breakfast. It was a breakfast buffet with both hot and cold choices - all good. The same on the outside would have cost much more. We self-parked the car in the garage for which there is a fee, just like at every other hotel in the area. The pool and spa looked great but we didn't have a chance to use them. My husband liked the strong spray setting on the shower head. The room also contained a microwave and refrigerator along with a coffee maker. The only negatives were a small, but adequate, bathroom and a problem with the WIFI. If a guest unplugs the router in their room, four rooms have no WiFi. Very clean, tastefully decorated but not overdone, convenient to town. The bedding is particularly comfortable. It's on a quiet side street, so very little traffic noise. Daily deductions were taken out on our credit card and on departure we were charged again. Not knowing this until we returned home to Australia I phoned the Crown Plaza Hotel only to be put on hold 3 times then they hung up on me. I have now contacted Qantas holidays to help me with this matter. Some of the workers were young and were unprofessional and kept calling me "dude". The rooms were tiny and was pretty far from everything. I loved my stay there. Before we left Australia we were told that people were not that friendly in LA but found the complete opposite. As soon as we arrived the front desk were just lovely and very helpful. The room was extra clean and the bed was the most comfortable we had in all our stay in America.
