The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The carpet in the room was worn and dingy. The hot tub was not working.“The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The common areas were well kept. The carpet in our room has seen its better days, however I would say the room was clean. The pool was good for young children most of it was only 3 1/2 feet deep and a small section was 5 feet. The hotel suited out needs and budget well.”

Nice breakfast.Room smelled, old used furnishings, slow elevator.“Bathrooms were just very used, definitely an older hotel. Had a smell in the bathroom, we never could figure out. Toilets flushed very loud, you could hear your neighbors flushing theirs. The elevator crawled, literally, it was the slowest one I've ever been in. Basically the inside of the hotel looked nothing like the outside, you were fooled by the exterior. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from.”

The staff was very accommodating during bad weather-great breakfast.“Clean, comfortable, very good service. No problem having to stay an extra night due to inclement weather. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay. Not frilly, but very nice.”

Loved it. The staff was so friendly and catered to all our needs. Felt like we were staying with family...The rooms were very spaciouse, the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub was awsome since it rained while we were there. There is also a sun deck so when it was nice you are able to go outside.. Looking forward to going again next year...

This hotel is clean and within close proximity to the zoo, COSI and shopping. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was great. Pool was fun, but a bit chilly. Biggest complaint: directly next to the VERY noisy interstate. We switched rooms the second night to try to minimize the sound, which helped a little. No restuarants around, but a great shopping/dining area is a few exits north.

A meticulous room, but a thieving staff!

New Year's Eve was my boyfriends birthday, and I planned a trip to Columbus, Ohio (about 2 hours away) for us. Instead of staying downtown where we would be shopping and going out, I reserved us a room at the Country Inn and Suites which was more expensive, but reader reviews promised clean rooms and good service.

The room was incredibly clean and very nice. However, when we got up to leave the next morning, we checked out and went to get gas. I went to take out my credit card when I realized all 3 were gone, as well as my government ID, change, and my prescription pills. We retired early to our room (around 11:30 pm) and the staff knew when we were leaving because we told them we were going to a punk rock show. I had the only other key, besides the extra that was in our room. I left my purse in our room as well as my brand new diamond pendant. They must not have seen the necklace. When I reported my things missing the staff acted strangely and suspiciously. I had to file a police report due to my credit cards and id being stolen, and they were extremely strange when he was there. Two days later (they were supposed to have done it that day) they called me with a history report from the lock on our door. However, they said since they change the batteries in the doors every month on the 1st (although she said they changed it on the 2nd at 11:35 am when they knew my lock had to be read) it apparently erased the past month's history. How convenient was that? I got a refund on my room, but for the next 5 years I have to check my credit 3 times a year! Thanks Country Inn & Suites!

Never will I ever stay there again!

Very Nice

I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone. The outside of the hotel is a good indication of its inside in this case-very nicely decorated with porch rockers, flowers, very homey-kind of reminds you of the Cracker Barrel restaurant. The room was clean, the pool and hot tub were clean, they were plenty of towels, and the food was excellent. There were cookies in the lobby when we arrived that my girls loved, and the continental breakfast was very good-good selection and good quality of food. The price was very reasonable, especially considering that it was the weekend and all the amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are planning to attend the same conference next year and will definitely stay there again.
