I stayed in this hotel for one night in

I stayed in this hotel for one night in Miami. Upon check-in I was greeted by a new, younger employee who had trouble processing my check-in with Hilton HHonors. Not only was the agent young and had pierces, he also was not professional in welcoming me. The supervisor, who was slightly older came over and processed my check-in and gave me an upgrade ocean view room. The room was amazingly comfortable and well kept, except that there were red wine stains on the floor and the wheels on the desk chair were broken. Bed was amazingly comfortable and bathroom was large and spacious. Everything else was fine except until after check-out. I had to store my luggage for the day as I had an evening departure at MIA. No problem dropping off luggage, however upon pick-up that changed. I waited 25 minutes for the concierge to retrieve my luggage. Upon asking what the delay was for, he said "Sir I apologize for the delay. I need to work on this situation for another guest". While this is an amazingly modern and comfortable hotel, I'll be taking my business to the JW Marriott next time I'm in the area as a result of the (lack of) service.

Beautiful Hotel but the Service did no Match

The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, our overall experience was overshadowed by some major inconveniences and service issues.

When we were getting ready for bed we realized the TV was not working (it would not turn on). When we called the front desk, they offered to send up a mechanic within the hour. We needed to be up at 4:45am so we told them to just wait until the next morning when we were out. We told them we would be back around 10am. When we got back to the room the TV was still not fixed. When I called the front desk to report the TV had not been fixed, they said they would have it fixed for the next guest. There was no apology for it being broken in the first place or for not fixing it when we requested. Broken TVs happen but to not respond to the complaint is unacceptable.

After check out, we could not get out of the hotel owned and run self-park garage because the cashier was out to lunch. Our ticket would not work in the automated machine and the hotel offered no solution. We were told to just wait for the cashier to return. We ended up having to wait 30 minutes and came close to missing out flight home.

I'd expect much better service from a Conrad and for the prices they charge. There are other downtown Miami hotels that are just as nice, equally priced, and offer the service you would expect from that caliber of hotel.

Terrible Front Desk

The Conrad is one of the most unpleasant hotels in this area. The front desk service is cold and can be very trying. Why do they put people with so little social skills to attend their guests? This is a difficult time for business and their staff are not doing the hotel any favors by being rude. If management is interested in keeping their customers happy, they would make sure that their representatives be comfortable and socially enjoyable people.

This hotel is in a really great spot! The staff are friendly and accommodating (they seem happy too). The lobby is a nice place to sit, but not really a hang out (though it has free wifi). For those who care, it's nice to know this is a Hilton. And

Very nice hotel for businesses needs.

Very nice hotel for businesses needs. Nice rooms. Do not book room directly with the hotel. After my business meetings I wanted to stay an additional night. I went to the front desk to arrange this and the price increase was enormous. If you book through online travel the room rate is much much cheaper than booking direclty with the hotel. Not a lot to do around the area, but South Beach is only 15 minutes away. It is hard to get a spot to lay out at the pool. Seating is very limited. Would stay there again for business purposes only.

Traveled with 2 kids and wife. Not quite as nice as the Conrad Chicago. Fantastic pool which is perfect for lap swimmers and family. Great tennis courts, and bar. You should upgrade to suite if there are more than 2 people.

Upscale and luxurious best describes the ambience.Loved it all.“My stay was for business at Conrad Miami but I would definitely come back for leisure! I mostly stay at the w hotels but Conrad hotels will be on my list of where to stay for both business and pleasure!”

Great hotel

This hotel is very luxurious. The rooms were very nice. The hotel portion of the building is on the higher floors. The lobby is on the 20th floor. You will get great views from your room.

The rooms are modern. The beds and the bathroom are nice.

I do not like cookie cutter hotels. This hotel scores some extra points because it is different. It does not sit on a beach and I would not classify it as a resort. The pool is on the small side but is very nice and had ample chairs to lay by the pool and was quiet.
