I didn't have a problem with the room at all. It was a single bed one room suite that i didn't expect. The bed was comfortable, maybe recently upgraded. The elevator was kinda sketchy each time i got in it but no real problems. The staff was friendly as well.

Not Your Best Option

I have stayed in this motel 3 times, because of the location. My main gripe is with their stupid room lockboxes, for which they charge $1.50 per day. It is such a hassle to try and get the lockbox charges reversed, that I just save myself the aggravation, and pay. They would be better served to invest in room microwaves and refrigerators, and forget about lockboxes.

Breakfast was okay rooms were clean. Its appearance was dreary prison like, we expected more. We just did not expect to arrive at such a gloomy looking hotel. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We could not wait to check-out.

NEVER GO HERE

The carpets were absolutely filthy. Check in and check out was a total disaster. The front desk clerks were rude and very unfriendly. This is the first Comfort Inn and Suites that I have stayed at that I would NEVER recommend.

The room is clean and comfy for the price. The parking area is confusing due to construction work on going. It is on TV Highway which is easy access in Beaverton. The staff is helpful. The room is clean.

Way too pricey for what little amenities offered

In a nutshell, this is a $49.00 a night place but they charged us $118.00 a night. I could've stayed at a lush Doubletree or Mariott downtown for that price.

First off, I'm a light sleeper and this hotel is right across the street from a very loud and VERY active train system. I would shoot up out of bed at 4AM when trains would pass. I've stayed in hotels before with trains but this place seems to be built on a trampoline because the train literally shakes the whole hotel when it passes by. I missed out on alot of good REM sleep because of this.

Secondly, when we stayed there- there was only one wireless internet access point in the lobby. Being reliant on internet for my business travel, this was the absolute slowest, most horrible internet access I've ever encountered because everyone in the hotel is hived off of that one wireless router *IF* you're lucky enough to actually get a signal to your room and are fortunate enough to be placed within a distance to the lobby wireless router. They blamed ComCast (their ISP) but I've stayed in other hotels around this area which have comcast and they didn't have any problems. They offered up that I could use the lobby PC but the lobby PC is not the same as my laptop which has gigabytes of business information on it I need to access. The front desk said I could always connect via the "data port" in my room which is only a standard RJ-12 phone jack in the room and offered no option for any standard modern Category5 Ethernet access. If you rely heavily on Internet access for business or pleasure- do not stay here. Hopefully by the time they read this, they will have improved their internet access options.

Although the uptight staff at the front desk was as helpful as their "holier than thou" personalities would allow, they seemed to work at a snail's pace disregarding the growing line in the lobby and acted real snooty to callers inquiring about rooms and rates.

I booked this place online but if I talked to them over the phone and they talked to me like they did some other people I witnessed, I'd have booked another hotel altogether based on their phone support alone. The small banter complaining about customers they would exchange after each call with each other proved to me I wasn't going to be calling them anytime soon.

The housekeeping staff seemed to be under staffed and the front desk clerk balled one poor gal out right in front of us because the housekeeping didn't have a room cleaned and ready before official check-in time.

The ONLY redeeming factor to this hotel is that it has the Black Bear Diner right next door within walking distance and had top notch food and service. It seems to me that the desk staff at this hotel could take some customer service pointers from the restaurant next door.

Location very close to daughter's

Location very close to daughter's apartment.Continental barks late, and staff members did not use gloves to put food out for guests. Very bad hygiene precautions. Bathtub shower curtain smelled very 'sour' and was quite offensive. Air conditioner very noisy and only two levels worked. Did not appreciate breakfast being 30 minutes late in preparedness and staff not wearing gloves as they put bread, donuts, muffins, etc., into the serving case. Very unhealthy. My husband and I did not eat for this reason, and had to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Not acceptable to me, when 'free' continental breakfast was included in the motel rate. Will only stay here again if I can be assured of a clean bathroom, and the staff will use gloves to put food out for guest consumption.

not a typical Comfort Inn

On the plus side it was cool when we walked in the room unlike some others. Room was okay. Not worn and dated as some are. It was bascially clean expect for the carpet next to the night stand (hard to reach!)
The door had such large gaps around it that the hallway light actually lit up the room.
Internet access did not work,
Clerk blamed Comcast. Speaking of the clerk. The afternoon guy had the personality of a fence post and I overheard him talking to another "guest" and he was downright rude to her. On the plus side the water was hot. The breakfast was a joke. Would I stay again? Only if there was no other choice.
