We found everyone very helpful, the breakfasts were very good, the room was clean, well equipped and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It's in a good location if you have transport, but we had thought we could use public transport which was practically non-existent in that area and we had to hire a car. Took us a while to get used to the road system and we got lost several times (particularly returning from Northfields which was only a mile or so away!) However, we were made to feel very welcome during our 9 night stay. Perhaps some real china instead of plastic would be better - it would surely be cheaper in the long run to employ someone for an hour to wash up after breakfast? Generally a good location, close to the Airport, Downtown and other attractions providing you have transport; some noise from children (but the fault of their parents/guardians, not the Hotel).

Oldie But Goodie

I had to go to Denver for a conference in the downtown area and so, went searching for a decent hotel at a good rate. All the properties downtown were out of my price range. After expanding my search, I ran across a few about 10 miles from downtown Denver along the I-70 corridor north of downtown. (I was told at the conference that these hotels were built before the Denver International Airport was built and the main airport was the one closeby here).
I setteld on this one. It wasn't the least expensive, but it seemed to have everything I was looking for at a reasonable price.
I am happy to say I wasn't disappointed. I had called for a late check-in and they had the room ready and waiting for me when I got there. The place itself is an older unit but still in good condition. The room was very clean and the bed was excellent! All the staff was very courtious and the free wireless connection, although slow at times, did work. They also accommodated me when I asked for a late check-out.
If I had to mention something; I'd have to say that the parking lot gets a little crowded at night and the elevator shakes a little but if you don't mind that or sharing the property with the truckers from the truck stop next door, I think you'll find this place a great deal.
Oh! And if you do stay there, don't miss going to the nice new shopping center directly north right off Quebec. Drive-through Starbucks, Super Target and don't miss the Bass Pro Shop! (Great fish at their restaurant "Islamorada" inside).

Great staff, excellent price

I was in Denver the weekend of July 19 and all hotels in the area where i needed to be were sold out or way too expensive for there was some kind of Music Festival in town. I searched around and found the Comfort Inn and Suites hotel on Quebec st. When i approached the desk to ask for vacancy they said they too were sold out i was about to walk away when the front desk lady stopped me and told me that if i left my name and contact number they would contact me if they had any cancellations, i thought "ya right" but i left my information anyway. I never expected to get a call back but sure enought 3 hours later that same lady called to tell me they had a cancellation for 1 room suite, i didn't need a suite but was desperate for a place to stay overnight so i took it. I was amazed that this young lady went out of a way to accomodate me! I was very impressed with the quality of their staff, the breakfast had a good selection, the fresh fruit and waffles are great! The beds are wonderful! Very comfortable and clean rooms. All in all, my experience at this particular Choice Hotels property was great! I will certainly stay at this location each time i am in Denver and would recommend this hotel to friends, family and co-workers.

I discovered after checking out that had left several items behind. When I contacted the hotel the morning after checkout, they said nothing was found, but didn't ask for a description of what they were looking for. Both corporate and the GM of that location could only apologize and asked that I consider this an isolated incident.

Cheap and easy to get to.It wasn't fancy, but who cares.“It was a decent little place. However, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location great. What else do you want? It wasn't a B&B or romantic getaway. But it wasn't supposed to be.”

Wireless internet in room. Waffle breakfast included. Spacious room. Comfortable bed.Dark bathroom. Only one elevator and it was extremely slow.“This was a very basic no frills room in a not so nice neighborhood. There was a nice mall nearby, however, and good access to Interstate. We liked the convenience of breakfast each morning downstairs. It was quite crowded, though, and hard to get to the waffle makers (it was do-it-yourself style). Having internet in the room was a plus.”

I liked the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere.A couple parts (like the elevator) were older and a little slow.“My sister and I just needed an inexpensive place to stay in Denver for one night. The Comfort Inn exceeded our expectations! The staff was helpful (providing toothbrushes, etc). The room was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast and free WiFi was appreciated. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Denver.”

Very bad customer service

The room and stay was fine. It was very close to my client but not much to choose from for dining or activities. However, after checking out, I discovered the next morning that I left some items in the closet. When I called, the front desk assured me that nothing was found and the staff would not have taken anything. However, after 3 phone calls to the hotel and 2 emails to corporate customer service, I am still without the items and have not gotten a response from hotel staff/management or their corporate office. It is facinating to discover that clothes and items can simply disappear when left at this hotel.
