Facilities were adequate but you can tell that the hotel is not in it's prime. It was probably formerly a Holiday Inn Express or other chain hotel. Amenities were at best were limited. Hotel staff while helpful and alert, really didn't understand English that well --so communication was limited to the key words. The location was near to Reagan National Airport and just down the street for more affluent Hotels. However, the beds are very cheap and poorly mounted to their base. The bathroom was well worn. The shower faucet rotated 360 degrees. The sink faucet sprayed water out at a 45 degree angle. The sink itself was very well worn and gave the impression that it was ready to fall off the wall at a moment's notice. The front desk answered and stated that housekeeping was closed. I said how can I get another blanket? The front desk offered to bring me towels to cover up with. I kindly said no thank you. I expected to come back to our room the next evening to find an extra blanket, there wasn't. They were very rude and unfriendly. Did not seem to want to go out of their way to help or make the stay more comfortable. The location was excellent and the hotel was nice, clean and in a good area.
