We had reservations for 8 nights, but checked out after only 1. The carpet was dark green, but I could see stains on it! There were water stains on the ceiling and around the door. The wallpaper was peeling around the door and under the sink. There were drips/stains of various colors and textures on the bathroom door and walls. I didn't even take a shower! The worst thing, however, was that every time the guest above us flushed the toilet (which we could hear), our room smelled faintly of raw sewage! This combined with the water stain on the ceiling by the bathroom was gross! This hotel misrepresents itself as being close to Old Town Pasadena. It is NOT close. It is not that far, either, but there are other hotels that are closer - and cleaner. This is also a bad part of town - gangs, etc. This hotel is pretty inexpensive, but it is NOT worth it. Room was clean and spacious, with free wi/fi which make my traveling more effective since I often bring works on my trips. I was surprise to find the hotel has very nice & comfortable beds, and the rooms are very clean. I have to visit my daughter at least once a month and this is where I will be staying from now on.
