I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived to check in I was informed that their computer systems were down and it would be a few minutes. A few minutes quickly because a half hour. I was surprised to learn that there is only one very small elevator in the hotel with comfortably only fit four adults and since the building seems old it takes forever to arrive. Upon checking in I immediately booted up my laptop to make sure that wi-fi was working correctly. Of course, it wasn't. I called the front desk and was directed to call tech support, which consisted of ONE woman, who told me that she knows nothing about Mac computers and can not help me. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and provided great nights' sleep. The area was amazing. Although there is not a whole lot to do in the vicinity. The continental breakfast consisted of fruit, cereal and bagels, which I was not expecting. There is no room service available in the hotel. All in all, good room for the price.

Location within the city. This was not a 3 star property.“This room was extremely small! When I sat on the end of the bed, my feet were in the bathroom. The AC unit was old and smelled when I ran it. The bed sagged & the elevator took forever to reach the higher floors.”

The location was great, rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was just okay, not much of a selection and had to wait a long time for waffle maker.“Great location, very close to the Subway and upper west-side restaurants/nightlife. The room was small, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and even let me check-in earlier than the usual time. I would definitely stay here again.”

If small room bothers you, don't stay here

Here is the simple fact about this Hotel.. The rooms are tiny but clean. The bathrooms, TV and amenities are new and clean. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Close to subways, restaurants and Central Park. Walking distance to museums and any Central Park attraction such as the Tavern on The Green, the Met, Natural History and Guggenheim. The breaksfast was OK, everything I would eat at home such as cereals, yogurt, bagels, rolls, coffee tea, etc. Always enough on hand and more if you ask the staff.
Just a clean palce to stay for people such as my wife and I who spend zero time in the room for anything but sleep and shower.

In a nice residential.Very small. Not for two individuals. My closet is bigger.“The hotel was not what according to the price. Very small that a tall or a big individual can not be accommodated. Future lawsuits will occur if they do not model the old hotel. No space at all.”

I loved not being in the hussle and bussle of mid-town. Don't get me wrong, I like going to the shows and such, but it was so wasy to hop on the orange/blue subways and the redline was only a couple blocks away. Strolling through central park was one of the highlights of being in the area. No need to spend more money to stay in mid-town when it's so easy to hop on the subway. Only complaint is that the air conditioning couldn't seem to keep up with 90-some degree weather, the room was somewhere around 80 degrees even though we had the air on full blast.
