This is my second stay at this hotel. I called ahead and requested double beds and I was told it could be arranged. When I got there, manager was extremely rude and argumentative when I told her I needed double beds. I told her I had stayed there before and had double beds for the same price, she questioned me as to when I was there, why and with who. This Hotel is overrated at 2.5 stars. I'd say 1.5 max. Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms clean but older, burns on bedspread, etc, had to pull furniture to plug stuff in, wireless was good, creepy, rough neighborhood, hotel is open to the street and I saw no security guards. Clearly the owners are trying to keep up but I think the clientele might be a bit rough on the rooms. The rooms are much nicer than the location suggests, but they were not as clean as expected and minor issues like the bathroom door not closing added to the detractions. Nice clean presentable hotel in the middle of Hayward at a good price and served the purpose stayed overnight after visiting family for x-mas.
