Price was OK, just be ready to pay for parking and service fee. Other than that, rooms were spacious, clean and staff was friendly and willing to help. Good for family stays and conveniently closed to many POIs. If not afraid to walk, there were a few inexpensive clothes stores for us girls who are always missing something nice to wear.

Great place to stay.

When my sister Judy and I got there, I was a little worried of the street, but when we went in. Peter was there and he went out of his way to get us a room, but we got there to early to for check in time.
He was very nice and we got check in. He told us about the Metro. That was only a half a block from our Hotel.
And with us being by our self, that was great We went every where we wanted to on the Merto.
We were going to rent a car but found out we didn't need to.
We would get back to the hotel. The staff was great.
They booked all of our Tours for us, called the vans to come and get us. They were great. They were so friendly that when we come in we would say, WE'RE HOME, and they would just laugh and ask us what we did that day.
They had a safe in the room and that was good so we didn't have to carry all our money around.
The only thing that I seen that was bad way the sofa in the front was not as clean as I would have liked. They ask me about the Hotel and I told them and they said take care of it .
But the rooms were very clean.
I would stay there again for sure, it was close to every thing, and if we get to go back there next year, we will stay there.

Hotel was centrally located for my visit. Only drawback was the water pressure on the first morning was non-existent and the staff was totally clueless of the "why". Very difficult to fill up the jacuzzi when there is no water.

Not much around as far as dining goes,

Not much around as far as dining goes, but extremely close to metro redline station. Can take the redline downtown or to hollywood for food. Rooms are recently renovated, wireless internet is decent to good. Good size LCD TV's in most rooms. no HD channels though. I stayed in this place for a month and got nothing but excellent service from the front desk. There are security cameras all over the hotel. The neighborhood looks a bit scary. All in all, I think this hotel is a good find for the price and the area.

Use as second or third choice in LA.

I was disappointed in the front desk staff. Person gave me inaccurate directions--then said I should have mapquested it. In addition to room rate there is a surcharge for phone and for safe whether you use them or not. When I asked the front desk they only thing they could say is "mandatory charge" So if you're counting on any help or courtesy from front desk I'd say forget about it or ask for manager.

Breakfast is pretty basic, so-so coffee, juice, cereal, and the ability to make waffles.

Room are clean, and cleaning staff is friendly. Rooms overlook gas station.

Right off 101, Dennys and other family restaurants near by.

My stay here was alright, it met my needs of a place to crash while roaming around L.A. The best thing about it is its literally a few steps down the street from the metro station and bus stops. The room was nice flat screen tv, chaise, desk, fridge

I booked this thing online for something like $115, and arrived at the hotel an hour later. Everything was normal until I walked into this room. It had a 30 inch flat screen TV, vaulted ceilings and a F@#$%@#$ing jacuzzi! It was a week night, so m

This hotel or rather hole in the wall

This hotel or rather hole in the wall is not worth your money ... This hotel is located between abandond bulidings and a child welfare bulding. There is no security, do not leave your things unattended. The elevator inspection is out dated and the hotel does not offer any ammenties there is no internet access , no pool, no spa, no shuttle bus from the airport to or from the hotel or anything. You will pay about $50 to $* for a cab to the hole in the wall the only view you will have is the poverty riddin enviornment in which it sits. There is no eating except for a x resturant there is nothing for the children to do here. The staff is not helpful at all .

Hotel was convenient location. This place had a good free breakfast. Rooms were nice but parking was tight. But at any rate, good value for the money. I'll book again. Oscar the front desk manager was awesome.
