In Sept '07 I called and canceled the dates we couldn't be there and confirmed two rooms next door to each other for the dates we had obtained tickets. We arrived on the first evening we had reservations after driving thru blizzards for 400 miles and found out that the room adjoining ours had not been cleaned and all the cleaning staff had left for the day. Fortunatley a room down the hall was empty and our freinds were able to stay in that one. I also didn't appreciate the room rates being jacked up by about $40/night just for this big event.
