There were only 2 reviews before mine and they didn't agree with each other. But our stay was good. It was really clean and comfortable. The only drawback is their brochure said that the fitness center was open 24 hours, but it closed at 11 p.m. One good thing that we didn't expect, was a small fridge and microwave in the room.

Gym was great/.Not handicapped

Gym was great/.Not handicapped accessible! Not handicapped accessible no way to get to 2nd floor/no elevator. Curbs all the way around units/no ramp/had to go all the way around from main building to units from front of main building to room/so daughter had to lift wheel chair over curb. Only handicapped parking was in front of main building/if we parked there would have to carry luggage a significant distance/disappointed in this lack of accessibility is still not being addressed.

Great Place to Stay

This was my first time in Florence and I was leery of getting a hotel as i didn't know what they looked like. But I booked this one online and scored good.
It was clean and the staff were super friendly.
We got there on Thanksgiving day, we were there to visit some family and we got there at 10am and check in is not till 4pm but we had been in the truck all night and they were very nice and allowed us to check in early which was great. The beds were comfy and the shower was great, it had a shower head just like my own at home so I felt right at home. In the room they had a fridge and microwave and coffeepot. There was an ice machine just down the hall. The heater worked great which was good as it was super cold outside.
The hotel was a bit spendy for a Holiday Inn but it was a Holiday so that could have been the reason but then it is also a tourist town so it could be high priced all the time.
Over all the stay was great. Didn't like the price but if I had to go back to the town I would definitely stay there.

This hotel was the worst of four hotels

This hotel was the worst of four hotels we stayed at on the coast. The bathroom door was too close to the toilet, there was mold on the shower curtain, the TV made an odd noise all night and we were awakened by the fire alarm in the OTHER building at 7:00 AM. Not a very restful place.

Just returned from our visit to Florence. We had a room with a king sized bed. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. The room also had a microwave, small refrigerator and bar area which is great for snacks and microwave meals. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate and very nice. The location was great in respect to Old Town Florence and other area sites. We had a great stay here and can't wait to go back!
