My husband and I agree with a previous guest review - once you remove the trappings of an historical hotel - you see that it's not much better than a Motel 6 - for a lot more money. There was no light over the shower which made it very dark in there. They provided a water and a couple snacks in the room and I thought that was a nice touch. Breakfast smelled wonderful but unfortunately did not have the time to eat. New managemnt staff was unbelievably rude and inflexible. This turned into the most unpleasant hotel experience I have ever had-and there have been many- both in both the US and other countries. Be VERY cautious that you do not need to make ANY changes for ANY reason, even if because of flight cancellation that are due to incremental weather. We went to the Riverside (End of Green Line D) to catch the train which worked out great. The hotel staff were wonderful - friendly and very helpful in answering questions about the area and recommending restraunts. The free breakfast was the best we've had because they had a good selection of food including hot items (eggs, omlette, potatoes, sausage, etc.) and a waffle machine. The fitness room had old equipment in a small room. The biggest problem was the noise from other rooms and the hall way.
