I have never written a review before, but I was so disappointed in picking this hotel, I had to make sure others did not stay here. The lobby is nice; however, the pool is CARPETED!!!! It is covered in mold, and filthy. Our room had holes in the carpet, with very old, used furniture. This would be expected in a $33.00 dollar a night hotel, not a $140.00 night hotel. When we were greeted, the gentleman was very short tempered and did not show a welcoming presence. The only good thing I can report is that the pillows were decent, and when we stated that we forgot our toothbrushes, the hotel did have some in stock. With the exception of one new "recruit" up front and a very classy lady who was the AM breakfast hostess, the front desk staff had a sullen, "we-could-care-less" attitude as if they did not realize that my repeat stay there after two years away, and the money it generated, paid their salaries and gave them jobs. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the maid was extremely friendly. We thought they had a great Sunday brunch and the employees were definitely attentive.
