I've never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast, and the experience was better than I had expected. At first glance of f the street, the house was just perfect looking at the end of the condulac. It was such a pretty place. Even with some fairly new additions to the B&B, they still made it look like it was built decades ago with the rest of the house. It was my first time in Napa, and the suggestions and recommendations given to us were perfect. The landscape was nicely groomed with great trees, flowers and plants. Too bad it was cold, because the pool looked amazing in the backyard. Finally, the food provided- there was always plenty of goodies available throughout the day. The refrigerator was stocked with fresh fruit, cheese, and liquids(non-alcohol &wine) . They also had nuts, candy and cake to grab anytime. They also included a 3-course breakfast. You couldn't sleep in because the smell of the breakfast just made you want to dash to the kitchen to be served an awesome platen of it (which was amazing both mornings). I would truly recommend anyone to stay at this B&B.

Most Romantic Bed and Breakfast in Napa

As we become more discerning travelers, my honey and I find that it is becoming harder and harder to find places that "have it all." The Candlelight Inn bed and breakfast in Napa is one place where the rooms, the breakfast, the staff (concierge) and the details are all handled in an exceptional manner.

First off, the drive into the property gives one a full frontal view of the beautiful Tudor-style inn. At night, the lights are wonderful.

The tour of the grounds we received included an amazing giant redwood grove, a cork oak tree (the type that fits into wine bottles) and the Napa Creek. Nature everywhere and the pool, beautiful. Once again at night when it is lit, the view very romantic.

Our room had a private deck (Lady Brittany) overlooking the large backyard area. We took a Jacuzzi tub - great while enjoying the fireplace in the background.

Breakfast the next morning was a true 3 course gourmet treat. Other places that call themselves bed and breakfasts without serving a great breakfast are on my list.

We had wireless in the room and there was a computer for everyone's use downstairs.

All in all the Candlelight is first class - a B&B that doesn't disappoint.

Our highest recommendation!

As if Napa isn't great enough! The Candlelight Inn goes the extra mile to provide the best visit to Napa! The rooms are incredible and spacious, the breakfasts are to die for,the setting is fabulous and whatever you do, don't miss the 5-layer chocolate cake served daily. That alone is worth the stay. The staff is exceptional. We will definitely return.

I stayed three nights at the Candlelight Inn, which was my very first bed-and-breakfast experience. Upon arrival I was surprised at how the Inn looked exactly as it does on the website. The Tudor style has a story book quality to it and my girlfriend gave out a little cheer when she saw the place. Our room, the Majestic, was fabulous. It had a big two-person whirlpool bath, fireplace, and private deck overlooking the gardens and pool area. The staff were professional, friendly, and when it was breakfast time, we were treated to a great 3-course meal each morning. The banana pancakes were very good!We felt so comfortable at times, it seemed like we were at our own place lounging in our robes, sipping wine, and listening to the sound of crickets. The place is as beautiful as it looks. Just delightful.

Romantic getaway

pros: room, view, service, breakfast ambience, attention to detail...Relative newbie to the whole B&B scene. Who knew they served such great breakfasts? The Candlelight Inn in Napa, CA was more than I expected. The people were really friendly as we joined the other guests outside by the pool for an evening glass of wine and some chocolate cake.

Our room had a private deck, a fireplace and a huge jacuzzi bath tub. The place was very clean and it felt like we received extra attention as we had champagne and chocolates waiting for us in our room.

My girl friend and I enjoyed the weekend both in and out of the Inn. We would definitely come back.

I am still amused at the words that ran

I am still amused at the words that ran through my head as I pulled my rental car into the parking lot of the Candlelight Inn. "Wow It looks just like it does on the Internet." Still, this cracks me up how leery I am about how all the Internet-hype for just about any product or service is usually over-stated or untrue. Not the case for this Napa bed and breakfast. My visit to the Candlelight, being my first bed and breakfast experience still has me smiling as it was the site for a romantic reunion with my 1983 Sweetheart.

I really enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi tub as it was a first time experience. There was plenty of room for us to play and laugh together amongst the bubble bath provided.

Feeling like we were the only couple in the place, (turns out there were 9 other couples staying there that night) we enjoyed the romantic ambiance of the room and enjoyed be ing treated as special by the staff.

Breakfast for me is usually a smoothie while I am running out the door as Sunday brunches with family seems to only happen on special holidays any more. Eating breakfast at the Candlelight was a delight. It was nice balance between taste and portion size that I found myself quite content after the last bite.

Not so much a reviewer but was surfing through the web and saw bedandbreakfast.com and decided to share how nice the Candlelight was and how it will always hold a warm spot in my memories.

Fabulous B&B Getaway

We stayed at the Candlelight Inn and had an amazing time. The inn and grounds are gorgeous and our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We found all of the amenities we expected and more. We loved the enormous Jacuzzi tub and fireplace and loved wrapping up in the inns comfy robes.

We were greeted by the Innkeeper who was warm and inviting. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant. We found the Innkeeper and staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Valley and their assistance with our itinerary was invaluable. We received recommendations for dining, small boutique wineries, spas and activities. We especially enjoyed Kelham Vineyards, a hidden treasure not found on your average tour.

Each morning we enjoyed a lavish 3-course gourmet breakfast, which was to die for! Our fabulous weekend getaway to the Candlelight Inn left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We cant wait to return!

A Wonderful and Romantic Place To Stay

pros: Romantic, Rooms, BreakfastI found the Candlelight Inn online and booked part of my honeymoon there. We were even more impressed once we got there. The room was beautiful and came with a HUGE jacuzzi tub. The room was nicely appointed and it was quiet even though there were several other guests. The breakfast room was cheerful and our breakfasts were delicious.

I would definitely recommend this for a romantic getaway and will definitely stay there when we are up in Napa again.

pros: The Hosts, Awesome breakfast, romantic settingmy stay at the candlelight inn in napa ca. was one of the most memorable nights of my entire life. I spent it with the woman i love in an enviroment that was designed with romance in mind and comfort for all . Mark and Wendy Tamiso are the most incredible hosts of one of the nicest if not the best bed and breakfast that i have ever stayed in. All i had to do was make a reservation then Wendy asked if it was a special occasion. It was it was our anniversary. That is all i had to say she said she would set us up with champagne to celebrate out anniversary. I am still in awe. Thank you Mark and Wendy Tamiso.
