The location was great. We returned to go to the Outback bowl game this year and had a less than satisfactory stay: The room we got had no vanity nor toilet lid in the bathroom. The general manager did nothing about when we talked to him except claiming he was unaware of it. Upon returning home, I discovered he not only charged us for the four nights we stayed there, but also charged us for an additional night. I called and talked to him and he agreed we should not have been charged but said he could do nothing about it. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and just got a letter from him saying we were charged because we were a no show. Lysol did nothing to cover the foul 'bottom of a dirty ashtray' smell from the room. Everything stank. We did not have a DID sign so housekeeping woke us up early in the morning! We stayed for 3 night between May 9th to May 12th. Everything seemd fine until I noticed almost 1000.00 had been charged to three different credit cards, one that I booked the reservation for was charged $406.00, one I paid with when we departed was charged 406.00 and even my mother in law card was charged 135.38 and the only time she used her card was when ording from the resturant. She had nothing to do with reserving the room. Stangely enough her card and my second card were charged on the 17th and mine on the 19th almost a week after we checked out and reported the first screw up. Good luck trying to get a hold of a manager when you find a mistake. After several faied attempts to try to correct the situation I called the Customer Relations number and guess wht, they have not been able to reach the manager yet and it is not the 22nd of may. One run around after the next is what you can expect when staying at this hotel. I asked that customer Relations person to find out why they charged so much accross 3 different cards and I still have not got an answer to this question. Check-in was fast. Elevator was a little slow, but only 5 floors so can't really complain. The room was nice and cozy, but AC only had manual settings.
