If you don't have a car, the #2 city bus will take you into L.A. or off to Beverly Hills or even to the beach. Some of the rooms open to the pool (not recommended with young children) and they include continental breakfast. If you are a tourist driving from LAX, I would recommend taking the 405 freeway north all the way to Sunset Blvd, then a right turn on Sunset to go east to the hotel a few miles. Not the shortest route...but you get to drive through the hills of Beverly and get a nice little tour! Under $180 for the night on the strip... I expected a dump. We had an amazing room facing the street, we had every comfort. Too bad we had to go the Hilton in Torrance (YUK!) for a work conference over the next 4 days.
