The gentleman who checked us in, Josh, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He was pleasant and very professional. The room was very comfortable and clean. We only had a small problem with the internet, but that was resolved quick

Best Deal For the Price in Napa.

pros: Nicely furnished rooms, great staff, great priceI've stayed at the Inn at the Vines many times over the years and I highly recommend it. They quality of the stay has only gotten better over the years and the price remains reasonable, especially being in Napa Valley. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, many times going the extra mile. I highly recommend Inn at the Vines to anyone visiting Napa that wants a nice place to stay and is budget conscious.

Very good value for a Napa Valley hotel.

Very good value for a Napa Valley hotel. The pool and Jacuzzi area was small. This is a very affordable option in Napa Valley, and has good comfort and amenities, especially for its price point relative to the other hotel options in the area. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed.

Great staff! Bent over backwards to

Great staff! Bent over backwards to accommodate our needs!Place needs updating, clearly older building, elevators and property need upgrade. Love this place not because of the hotel itself or facility but for the great customer service! My friend and I made last minute reservations for this place, good price, available, a Best Western we really didn't expect much. Since we were going wine tasting, I called the concierge about wine shuttle tours and they recommended Platypus Tours and said they would book it for us. Unfortunately Platypus said they would have to put us on a waiting list, but they were able to convince the company to get us on the tour! Also, since we checked in late at night, it was nice to get a friendly face at check in. We had no issues with noise and our room was very well decorated (given we didn't expect beautiful throw pillows and nice linens on our beds)-one other nice thing was that part of the toiletry supplies in the bathroom included make up remover pads! For women it's a totally nice touch! Love this place! Would come back again. It's reasonable with great service!

Good, friendly service to a walk-in business traveler who just needed a clean place to put his head. No frills, but enough style to make things comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Good value in Napa

We stayed for three nights and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have an internet connection with printer but it had a virus when we were there. The staff gladly helped us get our airline seat assignments. The room was clean and spacious. We did have some noisy neighbors one night (no fault of the motel) and the shower drain was a bit slow (but it worked). The room had a balcony which was nice for enjoying the California weather. There is a small hot tub and small outdoor pool with a nice patio area. Note that half the rooms have interior doors and half have external doors. Specify your preference when you book. The motel has a Denny's on the same property which offers guests a deal on certain breakfast selections. Parking may be an issue when the restaurant is busy. There is also an IHOP and Baker's Square within walking distance. There is a Target store and Starbucks across the street as well. The motel is located at the south end of the Silverado trail which is one of the two main roads stretching through Napa Valley. A 5 minute drive through town gets you to the first wineries.

All Review Photos Best Western Inn at

All Review Photos Best Western Inn at the Vines is located right on one of the main drags of Napa. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. COPIA and the Wine Train are about a 5 minute drive away. Our room was comfortable and had a deck where you could enjoy a full glass of wine after tasting all day. The bed was comfy and there was a bathtub to soak in. The property itself is a little spread out with different levels and such, but who cares about the outside when you are spending most of your time away from the hotel?Breakfast is included in the room rate and you just walk over to the Denny's that is located on property. You can get the breakfast that's included (eggs, toast, meat) or use your voucher for $2.50 off anything on the menu. I believe you can use the voucher at any time, although it was stamped with the date. There is a very small pool on site that didn't look appealing and a small hot tub that looked just fine. The hot tub though is almost directly in front of the elevator so it's not that relaxing with cars and people coming and going. We just soaked in the bathtub instead. For a place that won't break the bank that's nearby the town of Napa and not too far from the wineries, this is the place to be.

I was overcharged on my room by 50

I was overcharged on my room by 50 dollars, supposedly because I used a debit card to pay. Was told the 50 dollars would be refunded within a week but it's been over a week now. The rooms were not that special, nothing more than I'd expect from a Travelodge! There were no "amenities" in the fridge or anywhere. Visitors would be better off just springing the extra cash for something high end or going extra cheap somewhere nearby. They keep your credit card # while you stay there just to find some extra excuse to charge it. BEWARE HIDDEN FEES!
