Dissapointed

Beware, your dining options are extremely limited at the Beau. None of the fine dining restaurants are open during the day, this includes the BBQ joint. And depending on the day of the week they might not be open at night. I know that Thursday night the Asian restaurant was closed. Your only option is the $30 buffet or the snack shop.
If you are a sports fan your options are limited for catching any games, I think they only have basic cable throughout the hotel and there is no sports book. We were left with soccer games all weekend.
Also, they would not honor a promotional rate for me, this was after I called a week earlier to verify the rate and was assured I was getting the best rate.

I absolutely loved this hotel. My time

I absolutely loved this hotel. My time away was for 3 nights, and it was fantastic. The ambiance and decor was beautiful. The rooms are great, clean and easy to get to; not the mile trek you usually have to take to get from the casino to your room.I ate meals at the Terrace Cafe, Buffet, and Snacks restaurants. All were great, but a little pricey for one who is used to the reduced rate meals of Las Vegas. Thank goodness for comps :)Three negatives: I hear there is a beach close by, but you don't find it advertised at all. Secondly, the staff in the Emporium Boutique, on the day I visited, was rude. All other personnel I came in contact with at this hotel were more than willing to help. Finally, with all the land in the area, a shopping mall would be great for when you grow weary of gambling, or out of money. For a quick getaway, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Taking advantage of being the only game in town!

Let's face it they are the nicest place in Biloxi to stay. Our last visit was horrible. The food on the buffet was old. The staff was rude, but that part is not unusual. The valet parking was full from people coming to gamble and did not even have a room there. The rif raf that was hanging out there was annoying. Would not recommend it to anyone, we will go to Vegas for a few more dollars and a much more pleasant experience. Dont waste your time and especially your money.

Pure Southern Hospitality

My wife and I have been staying at the Beau since it opened. We have enjoyed every visit and have never had any complaints about rooms or service. The Beau and the Mississippi have everything Las Vegas and other gambling destinations have to offer. For a change of pace take a trip to Ship Island in the summer. Day trips are available and you are back in time for dinner and a night in the Casino. We don't claim to be winners every time but our luck is not bad. The food is delicious and no more expensive than other high end resorts. As a Players Club member we always enjoyed attending special functions such as Slot Tournaments and Cash Give Away contests combined with dinner and an awards ceremony. We plan to return this summer and enjoy the pool area.

The Beau is a beautiful hotel. We enjoy the atmosphere in the complex. It is more sophisticated than most hotel/casinos in the region. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are quiet. The buffet is excellent. The breakfast buffet is especially worthwhile from a cost perspective. The minor negatives include having to pay to use the work-out facilities. And no coffee machine or refrigerator in the room.

I recently stayed at the Beau Rivage

I recently stayed at the Beau Rivage for a weekend getaway with my husband, and we had a nice time. We are repeat customers, and have always had fun at the casino and enjoyed dining in the restaurants. On this last trip, I was very disappointed with the results of our trip. The room had a dingy comforter and poorly insulated walls that we could hear people through, and our bathroom toilet ran the entire length of our stay. When we asked to switch rooms or have someone fix the toilet, they said they would send someone promptly and they never did. I am fairly easy to please, and I was willing to overlook some flaws in the room and service for an overall good time. However, I have had numerous problems with the bills each time we have stayed. The most recent time, I was charged for four nights when I only stayed two. I was also charged over three hundred dollars in "incidentals" on one credit card, when I had used another at check-in. I found the people I spoke to rude and cruel. It took months to get the charges straightened out. The past two times we have stayed, I was also double charged for the room!!!! Three stays, three times I had to call to fix the charges, and deal with dozens of operators who seemed unwilling to address my complaints. Although we have had a nice time, I am completely unwilling to deal with these people ever again!!!!!

Other than extremely poor valet

Other than extremely poor valet parking, everything at this property is top notch. We had such a great time and even won money!! The food at both the Steakhouse and Jia's was supurb, although pricey-but-they're in business to make money- They have invested a lot of money after being hit with 3 major huricanes in the last 4 years and the property is spotless. We were treated supurbly once we got past the ineffective valet parking. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we had never been here before- we were impressed with the level of attentivness from the hotel, restaurant, and casino staff. We are already planning a trip back-hopefully next year

Do not have your wedding here!

The staff of the Beau Rivage are the rudest people. It took the wedding coordinator 2 weeks to call me back after I called three times and when she did she was too concerned about making money with concerts/fairs to care about a wedding. I was stunned about their attitude and I making sure none of my guests are staying there.
