The pool water was cloudy--not crystal clear. Also, it is important to me to be able to see my kids at all times when they are in the pool, and there was a large support/beam that limited visability. (I moved a chair to be able to see adequately, but got a bit wet) There seemed to be a musty smell throughout the building....Our room was clean except it could use an update/paint in the bathroom(dusty/less clean above the tub surround----not an issue if you are not tall enough to notice). Excellent value for the price for a room, but I wouldn't recommend it for kids to swim. She was not familiar with where the metrocenter was located at. The toilet did not flush and the phone did not work. They changed us to another room and the toilet in that room did not flush and the light bulbs were burnt out in the some of the lights. We were moved to another room and that was satisfactory. The next day, my friend and I took our 11 children (all ours) to the pool. No one else was there. We were harassed by a staff member about our use of the pool (noise, jumping in, etc.) We were only there for 2 hours. On Sunday morning our toilet stopped up. I told the desk about it and they promptly handed me a plunger! Not professional at all!
