crackhouse?

I reserved a room for two nights, 7/25-26, 2008, my first mistake was in not inspecting the room when I arrived. I paid at the desk and proceeded uo to the second floor. The hallway was dimly lit, stains on the carpet, a horrible smell, nasty dirty doors, the fireextinguisher at the room I was staying in, (402) was missing, but did contain cigarette butts, the room stunk, the TV was unplugged( I refused to touch anything behind it for fear of finding a drug needle), there were stains on the sheets/pillow, the phone was nasty, toothpaste on the bathroomwall, stains on the shower curtain, and the commode did not flush. I immediately called downstaires on my cellphone and cancelled my second night reservation. If it had not been nighttime, and I was not familiar with the area, I would have run. I do missionarey work in barriors in the DR, they were cleaner rooms there. I hate that I lost 50$ on a crackhouse room. I still feel dirty. Thankfully I had my own sheets/pillow. IT WAS DISGUSTING. Sleep in your car before going to that motel.

Not pet friendly

I called the 800 number to make reservations when this was identified as a pet friendly hotel for my bichon frise who is a very small dog. I was told by the 800 number folks that it was pet friendly but I needed to call the hotel directly.
They had no idea what I was talking about and after a lot of extraneous conversations and the cost of a long distance call, they said they were not pet friendly and didn't know how the 800 people or the internet had that info. No apology - they were rude.
