I was in town visiting family, I wanted

I was in town visiting family, I wanted to stay in a clean and comfortable room without paying through the nose. To my pleasant surprise I came across this motel which lived up to my expectations. The property is in a convenient location between downtown Norfolk and Norfolk International Airport, which was just ideal for me. Although it is a older motel it is well maintained and run by helpful and friendly staff !

This was supposed to be a 2star hotel

This was supposed to be a 2star hotel on priceline (name your own price), but was more like 1/4 star (maybe even that). The building was dirty, sticky floors/walls, smelled like smoke, door to outside was broken so it was open all night (security issue?). The room was dirty/smelly, sticky stained floors, stale, dirty tub, dirty beds, crumpled old pillows, lights did not work. Please, do not stay there. Cont breakfast was days old, and gross. Staff was rough. I give the hotel 5 thumbs down! And priceline two thumbs down for giving me such a crummy hotel.
