Don't go here...

Just stayed here on May 23 & 24. Pictures on web looked good and price of $125 was better than others on the Cape. Room smelled, bathroom fan did not work if there was one, tile was falling off the wall in the bathroom, shower had mole, bed was VERY old and VERY uncomfortably, and the main door did not latch when shut unless you pulled VERY hard. We were lucky and found this the first time we went in. However, the staff didn’t know or didn’t care. We left the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door because I had two computers and a couple cameras in the room. The hotel staff still went in to ‘clean’ and left the door unlatched. When I brought this to the attention of the office manager, I got a weak ‘sorry’. Stay somewhere else, it’s worth it.

Pet potty

It was quite apparent from the appearance of the rag that might once been a carpet that they allow pets to stay in the rooms -- pets with loose bowels and sharp claws. No vent in the bathroom made for a moody London fog type of ambience. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable, although mine being the only car in the parking lot on Sunday evening led me to believe that I had probably paid much too much, and should have done some horse trading. The seven-day cancellation notice is extremely pretentious, especially since I made the reservation only two days in advance. I asked what would happen to my deposit should I die, and I was assured that I would be welcome, dead or alive. I found this conforting. My advice: Look around a little bit more, especially in the off season.

Yikes!!!

Stayed there this w/e (fri and sat nights). Closed in feeling and musty. Bathroom had mold at bath tub, tub needed caulking, tiles needed grout, no fan????, curly Q's on bowl and hair conditioner sample... just plain gross. Bdr area, cob webs from ceiling, cups dirty, peeling wall paper, carpeting frayed badly and sat night a bug decided to visit me in the sack!!! Keep the lights dim, so the next guest might be fooled. Free eats were really pissah. Sponge bagels, wilted cereal, rock hard peanut butter and water coffee!! Ugggh.... Is this place on my "get-away" list for next year??? Take a wild guess.

Yuck

My husband and I stayed this weekend. Room was not to our satisfaction, carpet shredded in many areas, jacuzzi very small & mold on caulking around tub, bed very very uncomfortable. The bathroom fan did not work, neither did the heat light. I found hair (of rather disgusting types) in the bed and the blankets had cigarette burns. Dirty plastic coffee cups stacked for guest use. I will not ever stay again & will make sure noone I know stays either.

Be very afraid!

We stayed here over Columbus Day weekend. The room was dirty and shabby, found leftover trash from previous guest, half-empty shampoo and lotion in bathroom - yuck. That carries recycling way too far. Beds old and very uncomfortable - my son ended up sleeping on the floor because he said it was more comfortable. Nails in wall, we assume, from pictures no longer there. We heard they were renovating but saw no sign of it. Indoor pool was not very warm. Hot tub was not very hot. For $150 per night, one would expect much, much more in the way of cleanliness and comfort.

AVOID THIS PLACE

MADE RESERVATIONS, SHOWED UP ON TIME, 3RD WEEK SEPTEMBER 06, PAID IN FULL AT CHECK-IN, WENT TO ROOM, FOUND FOOD UDER THE BED AND SOFA, COB WEBS, NO AC ON SECOND FLOOR, SHAKY AND SCARY SPIRAL STAIR CASE, NO SAOP, FEW WORKING LIGHTS. ASKED FOR REFUND TO GO ELSE WHERE, THEY SHOWED US 6 MORE ROOMS AVAILBALE OF SAME TYP, ALL WERE WELL BELOW A REASONABLE LEVEL OF CELANLINESS OF MAINTENANCE. THEY EKPT MY DEPOSIT CAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY. I EXPPALINED I KEPT MY END OF THE BARGAIN, BY HONORING THE CHECKING, AND PAYING IN FULL, AND ONLY EXPECTED A ROOM THAT MET EVEN MINIMAL SAFETY, COMFORT, AND SANITATION LEVELS, WHCIH I HAD NOT FOUND THERE. THEY REFUSED TO HONOR REQUEST, AND KEPT DEPOSIT, IN FACT WHEN REQUESTED THEY INITALLY REFUDSED TO GIVE ME WRITTEN PROOF THEY HAD CREDITED BACK MY CARD FOR 4 OF THE 5 NIGHT STAY. TOOK 20 MINUTES TO FINALLY GET THAT. CREDIT CARD COMPANY PHONE CALL WAS TEH ONLY WAY I STOPPED THESE FOLKS FROM TAKING MY DEPOSIT FOR A ROOM THAT WAS FULLY NOT PREPARED TO BE OCCUPIED. SO, HE CAREFUL, I'D NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, BECAUSE FROM TEH WEB PAGE ICTURES, VS WHAT YOU FIND, YOUR SECURITY DEPOSITE MAY BE AT RISK.

NEEDS CLEANING BADLY

My wife and I stayed there a while back and although the exterior is very nice when you enter the inside of your room your in for an unsavory treat. There was the stench of cigarettes that greeted us and the spiral staircase I swear was held together by duct tape. There was dust and cobwebs throughout the room and felt i was staying in a flea ridden room, couldn't wait to leave!

We love the jacuzzi being in the same room rather than the bathroom. Not many hotels offer that option.
Will be back again on Friday to celebrate anther anniversary with you!
