Participation in the TravelPost.com $500 Hotel Review Contest (the "Contest") constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Official Rules.
Eligibility: Open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its subsidiaries and its advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Void outside of the United States, in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.
Entry: To enter, click on the Post a Hotel Review link at www.travelpost.com, fill out the hotel review form and complete the registration form at the end of your review. The hotel review form is located at http://www.travelpost.com/hotels/rate-any.aspx?pid=-99. The hotel reviewed must be within the USA (including motels, bed & breakfasts, inns and resorts). An email address is required to enter the Contest.
There is no limit as to the number of entries per person, however only one review per person per hotel is allowed.
Contest Period: The Contest begins on October 10, 2005 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on November 6, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Four winners will be selected, one per week during the Contest Period, according to the following schedule.

Prize: Each winner will receive a Visa Gift Card with a value of $500. A total of four (4) prizes are available. All prizes will be awarded. No alternative prize, cash or other substitution is permitted except in the sole discretion of the Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Selection of Winner: The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received according to the Contest Period schedule above. All reviews submitted will be considered by Sponsor. The winner will be selected based on the quality of the hotel review, including grammar, spelling and the extent to which the review contains constructive information about the location of the hotel, comfort of the rooms, service of the staff, the hotel amenities such as their pool, restaurants, room service, exercise room, etc. The winner will be notified by e-mail. If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate winner. As a condition to receiving the prize, the winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity release. The affidavit will state that the winner's hotel review contains accurate information. The winner must agree to the use of his or her name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winner should allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks after mailing the affidavit of eligibility and publicity release to receive the prize.
General Conditions: No purchase necessary. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) misdirected or delayed mail or e-mail; (ii) telephone, telecommunications, hardware or third party software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond Sponsor's control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted, corrupted or terminated; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of participating in the Contest or possession of the prize; or (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the systems required to conduct the Contest or operate the Sponsor web site, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participants, shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and governed by California law. All decisions of Sponsor are final. By participating in the Contest, you also agree to be bound by the TravelPost.com Terms of Service and Privacy Policy located at http://www.travelpost.com/tos.aspx.
