Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Party town

From there Daniel & I headed for the taxi´s they are very demanding women only wanting us to talk to them about taxi´s, even prepared to exchange money they think I come from Austria should have said yes better exchange rate.

Find a Taxi group agree on $50real later found out that that is a god price.

The ride to our hostel in Urca is a real eye opener to see the poverty right next to high rise buildings & even have the taxi driver tell us that he wouldn´t´t go to these places during the day.

We arrive in Urca & there is a bit of relief as we are in a military area so there is a very low level of crime in this area. We get to our hostel around 1:30 it´s just a house converted but nice, put our stuff in our room & crash again.

An American Guy from our room (Mike) tells us to go see sugar loaf or Christ the redeemer as this may be the only clear day to do it, forecast overcast all week.

Really don´t have the energy slept the rest of the day & on into the night.
