It was an early start again, ready for 6.30 am to go horse riding. we only walked the horse which was not exciting but the most exciting was mustering the goats. Really enjoyed that. It was just me and michelle that went horse riding. rode for one and half hours. Got back on time for b/fast and went back to the cattle station with the rest of the group. some went shooting and some went rodeoing as well( trying to get a goat by throwing a rope aroung the neck. I did not get involved in this activity cos I didn't think it was fun!
1770/agnes water- we stopped at 1770 to pick and drop some passengers up and off. The township of 1770 is the site of james cook's historic landing on 24 May 1770 and known as the birthplace of Queensland. The closet southern access point to the great barrier reef. Located on a similar latitude to Hawaii.
Bundaberg- this is where the bundaberg rum is brewed. bundaberg rum is Australia's number one selling spirit and has been distilled here since 1988.
We then finally arrived at hervey bay at 6pm. checked in and was given information sheet for the trip to fraser island.
Hervey bay is very dead, full of retired people, tourists use it as a base to go to fraser island.
