I was on Kaanapali beach on Maui and I just want to say WOW! This place is heaven. You can take day trips to natural waterfalls around the island and some even require a short hike to get to so it even makes it that much more fun. The town closes down fairly early for all you nite owls unless you meet up with some locals who know the town well and can show you a good time. Bottom line is go to Maui you will love it and you will probably be very tempted to call all your friends and family back home and tell them you're staying for good. Late.
