Southern-Belle icon Madison, Wisconsin - "Mad City"

by Southern-Belle

Madison, Wisconsin
5 Stars  This place was Amazing
Amy, me and Trent walking Athena near Camp Randall.
Our son Trent and his wife Amy live in Madison, Wisconsin. Trent (and Amy) went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison and since we lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the time, we visited Trent often when he was in college.

We loved State Street, the boutiques, the brats and beer, the book store, the union, and the campus! The kids graduated, got married and moved to Seatle, Washington. But a couple of years ago they bought a cute little house and moved back to Madison with Heineken, their kitty. A little over a year ago, they got Athena, a wondeful German Shepherd, and now they are a family of four.

We're glad they're in Madison - they have a lot of history there and it's a great town!
