We lived in Green Bay from 1979-1993 - it was a great place to raise our three boys, Todd, Troy and Trent. But it's a big time football town and if you're not into the Green Bay Packers, well, you're just out of it!
We enjoyed boating on Green Bay, but it can be dangerous in bad weather. And we loved Door County which was about an hour's drive north. It was a fun place to roam around by car or on foot, exploring all the little bay villages along the coast.
The winters in Green Bay were the worst - long, cold and lots of snow.
