I was surprised by this city. It has Southern charm, a compact historic downtown area, a stretching commercial distrcit, and great classic houses, but too many churches for its own good! Really, every intersection had at least 2 churches at it. But they were pretty...as if each new one built was trying to out-do the surrounding ones in grandeur. I'd visit again.
