timla icon Boston, Massachusetts - USAs most walkable city

Boston, Massachusetts

Today I went for a walk around Boston. I went on a 90 minute guided walking tour along the start of the Freedom Trail, and learnt about 'the birthplace of the American revolution' - the Boston tea party, Boston massacre, and the creation of the declaration of Independance etc. It was led by a lady who was an ex history teacher, and she was dressed up as a person from back in the day. After the tour I spent another hour or so finishing the Freedom Trail, which is a red line on the footpath about 2.5 miles long which goes throught the streets of Boston.
Acorn St (lots of the houses look like this)
State Building
Old State House
The bar that inspired the TV series "Cheers"
