I grew up in Kentucky so I am a lil biased! Louisville is a nice place with lots of things to do. All you have to do is tell a taxi driver what you like and no matter what your interests are from strip clubs to art galleries....you'll find plenty of them. lol. No matter what you do in Louisville don't miss Churchill Downs, even if you don't like horses it's a sight to see. Shepherdsville is just a few miles south I think of Louisville and for anyone who collects antiques, there's a really nice flea market and some antique stores that I fell in love with.
