icon Louisville, Kentucky - Laid-Back Louisville

Laid-Back Louisville
3 Stars This place was Average
I don't know what it is about Louisville, KY but it seems like my husband is always on some business trip here and for some reason that I can't fathom, I always agree to go. I don't know much about this city, despite having stayed here on numerous occasions. I suppose if you were a horse-race enthusiast, a boxing fan, or into baseball this would be an interesting place to visit, but if your an occasional accidental tourist this isn't the place to come if your looking for something to do while your spouse is at a conference.

The hotel information book recommends the following Louisville attractions, none of which excite the imagination -- but for my dear readers, here you are:

4th Street Live (probably your best bet)

Actor's Theatre

Belle of Louisville

Brown Theatre

Churchill Downs

Famington House

Frazier Historical Arms Museum

Glass Works

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides

J.B. Speed Art Museum

Kentucky Center for the Arts

Kentucky Derby Museum

Locust Grove

Louisville Bats Baseball

Louisville Fire Arena Football

Louisville Palace

Louisville Science Center

Louisville Slugger Museum

Louisville Waterfront Park

Louisville Zoo

Muhammand Ali Center

Preservation Alliance

Six Flags

University of Louisville

None of which excite my enthusiasm, but I'll keep you posted if I change my mind.
