CDA is a gorgeous venue for an Ironman race. The swim was 2.4 miles in Lake CDA, the bike was 2 loops of 56 miles. The loop started with an 8 mile out & back along the shores of Lake CDA, then climbed west past Post Falls WA before scooting back to town. The 26.2 mile run was hot and fast, sticking mostly to the shoreline.
The townspeople and volunteers were very helpful and the overall experience was a delight.
