Our second port of call was Kahului, Maui. We spent two days here. Mary went on a Rainforest & Waterfall hike, while Mike visited Iao Needle, Maui Tropical Plantation and Country Store, and the Maui Ocean Center. That evening, Greg joined us at a Lu'au at the Maui Prince Hotel, located on Maui's southwestern coast of Makena. On the second day (8/1) the three of us got up for a 3:15 a.m. sunrise tour to the Haleakala crater.
