icon Atlanta, Georgia - Sports Night

by BatesFamily07

Sports Night
We went into the CMI-US office today to take a look around. After we got the grand tour, Carla & I got put to work pretty much straight away! We had to hand write all the envelopes for the magazine subscriptions we had accrued throughout our tour! Then we had to put the mags in them with some other bits of info. There was a couple of hundred from the tour, so we were kept busy! I guess if we’re pre-occupied, we can’t cause trouble!

We had a beautiful lunch prepared for us, and then it was back to work for the arvo. We got unchained around 3 (I’m just kidding) and we went over to the American Vision offices. We sat and read books while Dad recorded some radio interviews. After that we went back ‘home’. Mum and Dad had dinner with some folks who’d driven down to see them, so Carla & I had dinner with the Vallorani’s (the people we were staying with). We had bbq chicken, cauliflower cheese, potato bake (mashed and mixed through with cheese…so good). After dinner we played badminton with the kids, then basketball. Carla & I were being so careful when we were playing because the kids were fairly young, and we didn’t want to bowl them over. Their Dad started to get a little competitive, and ended up winning, but it was all good fun.

After dinner we all showered, and caught up on the blog. Dad and Mum came home around 10, and of course were up talking to their friends. We all ended up going to bed around 11 as our days have been fairly busy, and tiredness catches up with you.
