NAEYC Convention
4 Stars This place was Great
Mike accompanied Mary to Atlanta, where she was attending the NAEYC convention. On Thursday, 11/9, we both toured CNN, Coke World and went to Underground Atlanta. That night, as part of the convention tour, we went to the Georgia Aquarium. On Friday, while Mary was attending the convention, Mike went on a Gray Line Tour to Coke World, the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum and the Martin Luther King Historical Center and Ebenezer Baptist Church. ML King's grave site and that of his wife, Coretta, were closed to the public, as workers were removing their individual grave sites so they could be placed together. After the tour, Mike walked around Cenintenial Olympic Park. Friday night, Mary and I went to an Irish restaurant, in Underground Atlanta. On Saturday, again while Mary was at the convention, Mike went on a NAEYC tour to Stone Mountain. On Saturday night, we walked to Hard Rock Cafe for supper.
