This place was Amazing

The Naval Museum in Pensacola was interesting, but we really enjoyed the restaurants on Pensacola Beach. We were staying in nearby Navarre Beach on Santa Rosa Island and took a beautiful route to Pensacola Beach along a Gulf-front highway owned by the State of Florida. There were very few places to park, the sand was pure white against the blue water, and virtually free of tourists. Pensacola Beach has a great variety of seafood restaurants with outdoor seating overlooking the Gulf and is a relaxing, scenic spot to visit. I am hoping that Hurricane Ivan hasn't destroyed all the places we enjoyed so much.
