Pensacola is a beach town, so water activities have temporarily taken a back seat to hurricane recovery, but there are many parks, theaters and museums in the area. The Museum of Naval Aviation on the Naval Air Station, with its IMAX movie theater is a can't miss attraction, and there are frequent tours aboard the docked training carriers, if you get lucky.
